GrandeRouge Lucciano by Red Rhino
International Champion - Dutch Champion - Australian Champion
Copenhagen Winner 2003 and Slovakian Winner 2003
Argento wins Best of Breed at his first four Royals in Australia:
The Melbourne Royal Show 04 and 05, The Canberra Royal Show 05 and the most prestigious show in Australia, The Sydney Royal Show 05.
Argento, as he was known, was one of the top winning dogues in the world today. Before the age of 3, he had a string of wins that is surpassed by few, some of which are Copenhagen Winner 03, Slovakian Winner 03, Dutch National Champion and International Champion.
Argento had a very powerful, muscular body, built close to the ground, stocky and athletic. He had well opened nostrils, broad, thick muzzle, broad underjaw and excellent undershot. His topline was broad and muscular, deep, well let down chest and lovely movement.
This very special boy was a lovely rich red mahogany colour, one of the darkest we have ever seen, and is a proven sire. Argento was a huge asset to our breeding program and to the development of the breed in Australia.
We would like to share with you a couple of Argento's critiques.
From Eindenhoven Show on the 1st of February, 2004.
"Excellent size and volume of head, good proportions of skull to muzzle. Good large front.
Solid, massive built. Good bone. Good angulations. Moving very well" 1 Excellent
